I’m an Engineering Manager at a leading Australian software company, with 15+ years in technology and software delivery. her.sorted is my side business. What I’m genuinely good at isn’t the tech itself. It’s making it understandable and un-scary.
Two worlds: corporate tech and small-business reality.
I’ve spent my career in the tech world: building systems, leading teams, and (mostly) being the person who explains what any of it actually means to people who don’t live and breathe it.
When my husband started his carpentry business, I got a front-row seat to the reality of small-business life. The long hours. The uncertainty. The endless list of things that somehow all become your job. I started using the AI and tech tools from my day job to simplify the admin, streamline the systems and get some of those hours back.
That’s when I realised how many women running small businesses didn’t need more technology. They needed practical help making sense of it and a way to use it to take work off their plate and make running their business easier. That’s what I built her.sorted for.
I love watching people realise they can.
Giving back is important to me. I’ve spent a lot of time mentoring, volunteering and advocating for women in technology because I believe women supporting women matters — particularly in an industry where we’re still working to close the gender gap. Now, as AI changes the way we work, there’s another gap emerging. I want more women to feel confident being part of that conversation.

I live in the Perth Hills with my husband, our two boys, and whichever foster cat/s we’re currently looking after. My husband runs his own carpentry business, so small-business life is very much part of our everyday — along with the school runs, sports schedules and everything else that comes with modern family life.
